"We pick. You choose!"

Grower of exotic fruit in Puerto Rico

Rambutan, the best new fruit in Puerto Rico!

Longan, related to rambutan and canepa and very sweet.

Durian. Big reputation, strong unforgettable rich flavors. Unforgettable odor, too.

Very rare fruits that make the day interesting!

Smaller quantities of the following will be available in the years ahead

The pulasan, close relative of the canepa and the rambutan but bigger and sweeter than both

The abiu- soft, very sweet and as big as a mango

2012 will continue the arrival of additional exotic fruits reaching quantities that make wholesaling them feasible. The rambutan has been in the marketplace for a few years now and we will also have wholesale quantities of longan, durian and a small but steady supply of abiu. The pulasan is a very rare fruit tree that is slow-growing and challenging to bring into production. There will not be a lot of this fruit in 2012 but possibly enough to wholesale to select customers. The supply of pulasan is hampered by irregular flowering on young trees and this will take years to correct itself.

The mangosteen- finally!

There is, of course, one more fruit that we are producing but still in very small quantities and in 2012, I am going to release more of this to brokers in Puerto Rico. It has taken 17 years to reach this milestone and I am looking forward to the reaction of Puerto Ricans!

There have been many requests for tours and we are not set up for this. This is a working commercial farm, the terrain is quite rough, the roads are mostly dirt and muddy and not easily walked even during the dry season. During the harvest season when there is fruit, we are very busy, there is rain and the farm can be hazardous. The dirt roads are all but impassible during the rainy season. Maybe some year I will be able to improve the road situation to enable visitors but not yet. I am sorry about this.
